2023-2024

St John the Divine Anglican Church is thrilled to announce the newly created Choral Scholarship for 2023-2024.  The Scholarship is available for four individuals: a Soprano, an Alto, a Tenor and a Bass. 

Applicants must:

• be enrolled in Grade 12 or post-secondary education with a focus in music

• have their own transportation

• be able to prepare music independently prior to Sunday mornings

• be available to attend choir practice held on Sunday mornings at 9:15am

• be available for Sunday worship at 10:30am

• have sight reading skills

• have experience singing in a choir

• make the commitment to attend Sunday services from September 17, 2023 until April 28, 2023 (no choir on December 31 or January 7)

• give advance notice of absence whenever possible

The scholarship pays $50 per Sunday, which includes preparation, choir practice and service.
